One-time series.
The firm of Lanz became famous in the 1930s with its Bulldog models, and if offered many special designs in addition to its regular line of tractors. Among these special designs was the Lanz HR 8 type with its wheels for marsh land, wheels with wide treads to keep the tractor from sinking in the boggy ground. This tractor with wheels was simpler and thereby better in price as well as offering a wider range of uses compared to the halftrack vehicles designed for similar work. In the 1950s tractors with power multi-cylinder diesel motors and improved frames replaced the legendary and almost indestructible Lanz tractors with their glowing Bulldog head logo.
