Model: The cars come in an attractive display, 5 each as pressure gas tank cars without heat shields for the firm VTG, 5 each as pressure gas tank cars without heat shields for the firm Eva, 6 each as chlorine gas tank cars for the firm On Rail, and 4 each as chemical tank cars with insulated tanks for the firm VTG. All of the cars have different car numbers. They also have detailed frames with partially open frames. The trucks are the Minden-Dorstfeld design. The cars have separately applied brakeman's platforms and separately applied side ladders with a platform that are specific to the cars. Each car is individually packaged in a marked box. Length over the buffers for each car 14.6 cm / 5-3/4".
DC wheel set for each car 4 x 700580.
The class 140 electric locomotive, available under item no. 37403, is the right locomotive for these tank cars and is ideal for use with unit trains.
